Writer, Researcher, Storyteller
What I do
I write across genres, forms, and tones—always with precision and a focus on narrative clarity.
What I offer:
Personal Essays & Opinion Writing
I bring voice, vulnerability, and structure to lived experience. My essays explore identity, place, culture, and the complexity of modern life with nuance and intention.
Content & Marketing Writing
Need clean copy that still feels human? I translate tricky topics into accessible, engaging content — blog posts, web pages, newsletters, and more.
Editing & Story Shaping
From developmental insight to sentence-level polish, I help refine writing so it’s stronger, clearer, and more aligned with your goals.
Research & Writing Support
I love diving deep. Whether you need interviews conducted, sources synthesized, or complex ideas translated into readable content, I bring structure and clarity to the research process.
Writing Assistance & Creative Collaboration
If you have an idea but aren’t sure how to begin — or if you need a partner to help you bring something across the finish line — I’m here to help shape, organize, and execute.
My approach is simple:
Ask good questions. Listen carefully. Write thoughtfully. Communicate clearly. Deliver work that’s both polished and purposeful.

Get to Know Me

If you'd like to know more (or if you're just nosy like me), subscribe to my personal Substack where I regularly post essays and blogs about my life.
It's always a good idea to get to know the person you're working with---I find that it adds more nuance to a professional partnership when you know about their personal background. So here are some fun facts about me:
-
I am not originally from Napa
I am a Bay Area Native, born and raised in the East Bay. I am technically from El Cerrito---that's where I grew up and went to school. However, my family moved to Richmond when I was thirteen years old, which people tend to be more familiar with than the tiny town of El Cerrito, so I usually say that I am from Richmond.
-
I've called Napa my home for five years
It's the classic story---I moved for love. Amidst the 2020 Covid-19 pandemic, I moved out of my parents house and in with my then boyfriend (now husband) in Napa. It was meant to be temporary at the time, but life happened, and I just loved the community so much that I never left! Now, after putting down roots here, I feel called to stay and support the community that so readily embraced me. Never in my life did I expect to live in a beautiful, world-renowned tourist destination, but I am truly blessed to have spent my twenties here.
-
I have been writing since I was five years old
I’m not even exaggerating when I say that I’ve literally always wanted to be a writer, ever since I learned that books were written by ordinary people. When I was seven I desperately wanted to be Ann M. Martin, author of The Babysitter’s Club series. I wrote my first short story in kindergarten. I wrote dozens more short series’ in my notebooks throughout elementary and middle school. While other kids were playing at recess, I was sitting on the playground bench, writing away in my notebook. I was published for the first time at age sixteen, and received my first magazine cover. I truly believe that I was born to write.
-
I live with invisible disability
I feel comfortable sharing this information because it is a huge part of who I am, and a great influence to my writing. Not in the way that I am defined by it, but in the way that I have built my life around giving back to my disability/chronic illness community and supporting others wherever I can. I have been a proud advocate for many years and continue to fight for awareness, acceptance, and inclusion of people with disabilities or chronic illness. I'm not ashamed of my disability---you can take one look at any of my social media and know that I am disabled, its just a part of my reality. You can also see this passion reflected in much of my early published writing and digital content.
-
I am very passionate about books
Is this really surprising considering my multiple literature degrees? I consume books at a rate some people wouldn't believe. On average, I read about 10-12 novels or non-fiction books every month, usually over 100 books each year. It sounds extreme, but I have always consumed books this way ever since I could read! I grew up walking a block to the library every day for a new book, having Judy Blume and Junie B. Jones read to me at night---it's the only way I know how. Don't ask me to choose between reading and writing---I can't pick!
